The Okanagan College Students’ Union is working with students at the Kelowna campus regarding the creation of enhanced Students’ Union space. The OCSU is proposing the this conversation as increased space is badly needed on the Kelowna campus to maintain and grow the services, campaigns, events and activities hosted by the OCSU. An expansion in OCSU space would create a central hub for campus life and OCSU services. If approved the future space would be built with modern open-concept architecture and an environment designed with the needs of future students in mind. Possible enhanced space offerings would include a bookable meeting room, study space, a mixed-use lounge area, a larger copy centre, an information kiosk and space for food bank initiatives.
An open house will be hosted on January 10th in front of the library to discuss ideas and concerns regarding the new space initiative. Come to our session, or contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org for more information throughout the year. We welcome all feedback from our members. As this project continues to grow, we will continue to seek out member feedback.
