Your Students’ Union

OCSU is the membership organization of over 7000 studying at Okanagan College across Kelowna, Penticton, and Salmon Arm campuses. We provide students with advocacy, services, campaigns, and events year round. We work hard to ensure students’ voices are heard and we strive to support students in the best means possible while achieving their educational goals.

Taking the bus this semester?

OC students in Kelowna can purchase discounted student passes at Kelowna City Hall! The monthly pass sells for $55 (normally $70) and a Semester pass is available for $176. City Hall is the only place these passes are available for purchase, as our office remains closed until further notice.

Fund it. Fix it.

Tuition fees have skyrocketed over the last two decades, more than doubling since 2001. Where average tuition fees were $2,500 in 2000, they are over $5,900 in 2019; the average cost of obtaining a degree has increased by over $13,700 in tuition fees alone. The reason for this is clear: years of cuts and neglect have resulted in an underfunded system that makes up for funding on the backs of students and their families.
