THE HARBOUR
In addition to serving as a dedicated 2SLGBTQIA+ Inclusive Safe Space on the Penticton Campus, the Harbour also extends its support through a free food bank for all members. This resource is stocked with a diverse range of non-perishable food items, along with essential hygiene and safe sex products. Our primary objective is to offer short-term relief for students grappling with food insecurity and facing financial hardship. We firmly believe that no student should ever be compelled to make the challenging choice between purchasing groceries and meeting their financial obligations. Donate through OC Foundation (tax receipt given)
OC Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to supporting students in a variety of ways, and we are thankful that they have chosen to support the Pantry as well. Donations made through OC Foundation may be distributed to food security programs on other campuses (like the OCSU Pantry in Kelowna), so this is a great option for anyone who wants to support students across campuses. Donations may be made online and are tax receipt eligible.
